Date: Oct 10 2011 Major: Sociology (This Major's Salary over time) Overall, FPU provided a good, intimate setting in which to complete my BA. I found many of the students to be perhaps cliqish and self conscious. The faculty was wonderful. (Of course I'm back in the days of the founders, and Dr. DiPietro.) There was only one professor that I found to be detached and impossible to figure out, with an irrascible personality. The surroundings were somewhat bleak, with little of serious interest (except for Boston, 60+ miles away). Franklin Pierce helped me to realize some goodness in myself, raising my self esteem during what was a very difficult time in my life.
