where to start?! omg. this shouldnt be called barry university, it should be called clown college because it is the biggest joke i have ever come across. i so regret coming to this so called "school"

first of all. the dorms. i lived in weber last year and i got sick all the time from the fucking mold living in my room and bathroom. i now live in benincasa and yes its a tad bit better (only because its a new building). i have a single and while its a pretty good size, its built so horribly. i live on the top floor and when it rains it leaks through the roof and creates a huge puddle. does anyone clean it up? haha NOPE. speaking of leaks. my AC has been leaking since before i moved in. i reported it and they told me

well then why didnt these assholes fix it over the summer if it was a common problem? shit. so i let that go. yeah my ac has not stopped leaking. i moved in august 27, it is now october fucking 11th and my ac is still leaking. if i wanted to live in water i wouldve bought a boat house. im in res life literally once a week complaining how my ac is still fucking leaking. then the same process happens every time, mainetence comes a couple of days later gives me a new fucking excuse as to why the atlantic ocean is in my room again, does a little handy work and leaves. then it starts leaking again and the cycle starts again. fucking rediculous! i pay 30,000 a year for this school, i should not have things broken.

now on to the food. oh my god. fucking disgusting. you wouldve thought since ive been here a year that i would build a tolerance for it. but nooooo. i get sick after every single meal no matter what i eat. theres minimal choices to begin with, and the food i do settle with is uncooked, or stale or moldy. they do have decent food at lunch. they serve chicken breast which i cut up and put in a salad and im satisfied. but you have to wait on a 20 minute line to get ONE peice of chicken because the lunch ladies ( yes i said it. this is highschool afterall) dont trust us with getting our own food so they have to serve it to us while they are having heart to hearts with some of the students which causes the line to be 20 minutes long. ugh! the only good food place on campus is the international cafe. good quick to go food and delicious iced coffee but you cant even use your flex bucs here!!

security. HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA i personally think they all think its halloween everyday and just dress up like security guards for the hell of it. i mean you wouldnt be able to tell since they do not do their job at all. security for benni and kolasa is a joke. they are supposed to check guest ids but they dont care. not complaining when it comes to bringing my friends up, but if some random person wanted to walk in and rob dorms they would have absolutely no problem getting past security. the security that roam around campus or lack of. is rediculous. there is a main road that goes between campus and they SOMETIMES have a guard at the gate entrance off the street. especially at night time, no one is there. any random physco path could wander in and shoot up the place and noone would be there to stop them. i had to walk across that street the other night and of course there was no security there, let me tell you how fucking safe i felt. pshhh. speaking of shoot ups, the school was threatened by someone that they were going to come and shoot up the school. whether it was a joke or not, it should be taken very seriously. you wouldve thought that they would amp up security like crazy, but they did not. but again, this is a clown college so they probably took it as a joke. shame shame shame.

social/campus life. jokes jokes jokes. since this school is in the absolute ghetto there is nothing around the schools except broken down houses. the crime rate just around barry is nuts. i once saw a guy get mugged walking to holly house, called public safety to drive me because i didnt feel safe and they told me that they dont do rides at that time and to walk on the other side of the steet. seriously?!there are absoultely no parties. dont let the famous rich extravagant miami scene fool you. bc bu is the complete opposite. uhmm what else ? oh the advisors are never fucking there and the ones who are there are UNBELIEVABLY rude. so rude i was actually in shock. and im not one to take shit from anyone, so imagine my reaction when i thought someone who was suppose to help me was extremely fucking rude as fuck to me for no fucking reason. i wanted to drop a class yeah that was a huge fucking problem that this bitch didnt agree with. uhm im dropping a class in a school that im overly paying for; not taking your fucking eyeballs out.

i have so much more to say i could seriously go on for days and nothing positive either. just please please please do not come to this school, i wish i wasent lied to when i applied and came for a visit, because the lies made me think there was actually something good at this school and there is not what so ever. if someone told me all this or if i looked more into it i deff wouldve gone to another school. unless you want to waste a crazy amount of money to get a bad education that will get you no where in life then this is the school for you. if not then cancel your applicaton and look at other schools!
