Date: Oct 19 2011 Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time) SJVC is only in it for the money. The CST/CSA instructors genuinely care about their students, but the Admin faculty could care less about you and will always side with the Instructors if you want to dispute something even if you can prove something and point it out in the Instructors syllabus. Save your money and go to a CC instead. When you graduate you wont find the work you were promised and Career services is a joke. They are supposed to help you with job placement, but in the 14 months I went there we went through 4-5 career services people becaue they either quit/got fired/or switched programs. Career services also just looks at job postings online and in papers. I find every job they suggest for me days before they do. They need to get off their butts and get out there and network with businesses, not look online. Also, you are promised tons of hands on experience, at least for my program, and there was none. We just sat in front of computers and watched and did simulations.
