Date: Oct 20 2011 Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time) Seton Hall was a perfect fit for me… coming from a small private HS in Philadelphia, transitioning into a mid-sized campus was a HUGE departure from the norm and the atmosphere cultivated here made it seamless. Faculty and administration support staff were great! I think the Business School had/has the opportunity to offer more career guidance/support to those students who were not focused in Accounting/Finance. Management, marketing and those in comparable majors were left wanting when it came to on-site interviews and the university offering the necessary outlets to aid in our career focus as junior and senior year approached. Looking back, I believe a huge win was the number of core public speaking courses as well as projects that were required during my years @ SHU. Being able to present yourself professionally and thoughtfully is essential. I am exposed to top management on a daily basis and I am expected to be able to deliver. Having that foundation instilled from day one was indispensable to the growth of my career.Overall, the experience was great both personally and professionally and I think SHU will continue to thrive.
