Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I have had a good experience at Radford to date. I do not understand why some people imply that, a majority of the students here are always drunk or high on drugs. There are over 7,000 students here, I assure you this is not the case. I do not deny that the opportunities are there, but this situation is no different from any other public university of the same size. Choose your friends wisely, don't blame the school for those choices. The city itself is small, the people are generally friendly. Do not come here if you require a big city atmosphere, this really should not be a surprise to anyone who enrolls here, after visiting the school. There is enough to do around the school and town. A car is nice to have for the occasional runs to Virginia Tech, Blacksburg/Christiansburg, or Roanoke, all a short drive away. There is no football team and the other athletic events are not very well attended.I have had mostly good experiences with my professors. I will say, they have all been very accessible and generally, reasonable. So far all of my core classes have been fairly challenging, some of the elective courses require more busy work, than I care for.I am very happy here. I do not feel the University or the town, owe me 24/7 entertainment. Your time here is what you make of it. Bloom where your planted.
