I'm currently a freshman and i've been here 8 weeks or so and i'm ready to transfer. It seems that a lot of kids here came here as a last resort which was the situation for me. Oswego the town is so dead. The campus is vibrant though since it is right by lake Ontario and everyone is friendly. There is nothing to do in town since there are just bars and places to eat. The food is sub par. The centro bus system is convenient but there are only three buses that go into syracuse only three times a day. It is free for Oswego students only 3/7 days of the week otherwise it costs 5.00. There are frat parties virtually every weekend. If you're an intelligent person who doesn't like cold frigid weather, DO NOT come here. Financial aid is terrible too.
