Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
I have not spoken to a single student in the education department here who thinks he/she is getting their money's worth in the program. The field of education is treated as a trade, rather than an academic profession. The coursework is plentiful, but it lingers along at the undergraduate sophomore level rather than the graduate level. Most students feel they are just being fed through the system, rather than being treated as respectable paying student clientele. Many professors are felt to be unqualified.
