The Negatives:

I am going to this university because of the massive amount of financial aid that they gave me. The normal price for this college is about 42 thousand but it is definitely not worth it. Even the 18 thousand that I was paying is not worth it. This play is extremely overpriced and they are in a massive debt which is ironic because they give kids so much money to go here. DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU! Although it is cheap once you get a lot of scholarships and aid, it is not worth it to go here. This place isn't THAT bad, but I would not recommended going here and paying the full price.

The town of Rindge is absolutely dead and when you go to the Walmart there, it is all college kids or hicks and methheads. It is a small town with basically nothing to do so we go to Keene to get away.

There is really not a lot to do here. You can go to the gym in the Bubble although the gym is quite small. There is a decent track that you can run on and you can play tennis. For fun, we go to Walmart and the Dollarstore and spend money to get out of here. Walmart is the most fun place to be. We also drive to Keene and go to the Panera bread to get away from the shitty cafeteria food.

The food here is by Sodexho and it extremely mediocre. A lot of the times the food is cold. A good thing is the variety of icecream and the also have vanilla and chocolate soft serve. Breakfast is disgusting, I have only been down there for breakfast once and all they had to offer was some soggy french toast and gross fake maple syrup. They do have food after the cafeteria closes at night in the pub which is better than the normal cafeteria food but you have to pay money or use your Ravens points. You can have chinese food delivered to your dorm from somewhere in Rindge and its FUCKING DELICIOUS compared to the cafeteria food and inexpensive too. There are a lot of nice restaurants in Keene that are pretty close, like Olive Garden or Dominoes or Margaritas.

It can get pretty dirty here, especially because the cleaning people do not come on the weekends. Although people clean everyday, it gets dirty right away. The place downstairs where the washers and driers are is filled with lint and is almost always wet on the floor. If there are no washers open and all of them are being used, people will take out your wet clothes and plop them on the tables which is kind of disrespectful.

Because we are near the mountains, the weather gets very cold and rainy and in late October it snows. A lot.

The police people like to get you into trouble and will arrest you if you seem too drunk. They are prejudiced and will arrest you if you are drunk but don't need to go to the hospital. If you go here, be careful. The parties aren't that fun.

The dorm rooms are quite small and can make one feel extremely claustrophobic at times. In the winter, the heat is cranked up and the rooms become like saunas.

It is sometimes really hard to find a parking space and since the roads are one way, you sometimes have to drive in circles to find a close parking space. Assholes park pretty badly and there is somebody with a motorcycle that takes up a whole parking space.

It seems as if the majority of people smoke cigarettes just to waste time because there really isn't a lot else to do to waste time.

This college is mostly white people and is not very racially diverse.

The Positives-

The faculty here is really nice and the classes are not too hard but challenging when needed. Teachers will help you when you need help and really try hard so that you can do well and complete college. Class sizes are small so it is easier to get to know the teacher, ask questions and be more hands-on.

Because this is a small campus, it is easier to know where you are going but since there aren't many people, you see the same people a lot. The kids here are pretty nice but there is a massive amount of douchebags that reside in the upperclassman housing.

The library is really nice and there are almost never people there.

It really ISN'T THAT BAD HERE and a lot of people do like it but I feel that the price is not worth it and that I personally could get more out of college than this.
