I agree with other students or alums who say that hoosiers tend to not be friendly to people from out of state, and as a minority, I feel that many of the hoosieres I have met are bigoted misinformed people. Good example is the person who posted below me how he hates Korean or Asian graduate students teaching his business course. Not to mention that there was a hate crime incident last year, where foreign Chinese students were beaten up at IU Bloomington. The cost of attendance is ridiculous, and when you add up cost of living, gas, insurance, books, etc, it's not worth going to IU Bloomington. Heck, once you're considered to be a non-resident upon matriculating at IUB, you MUST pay non-resident tuition for the remainder of your college career. This is so pathetic of IUB to have this kind of policy. Plus a lot of hoosiers are greedy, money-hungry people. Again, I would not attend this school.
