I am a first semester freshman here and I can honestly say I love it ! This school was not my first choice but I ended up going here because I did not want to go to a huge state school and I got a big athletic scholarship here. I wanted to go to one of two other private schools instead but they did not offer me enough. At first these comments really scared me considering I am a very outgoing person I didn't want this school to be boring with "no social life" like some people described it. I was able to make my set group of friends right away and for the most part people are very friendly here; alot better than the snobby prepartory highschool that I went to. We have so much fun with each other and making friends here is really easy :) . The school work and my sport both keep me very busy; the teachers try really hard to help you out if you have trouble with a class. Every single weekend you can either go to clubs or a couple house parties and its always fun. My only complaint is the food its very eh. I know they say it all the time but college is what you make of it, me and my friends have gym dates like going to zumba or movie nights and then we always go to parties and meet new people. Yea there are some people who hate it here but those are usually the people who sit around in their dorms and don't do anything. Not going to lie though, you see the same people everyday which I dont have a problem with, but if your looking for a big school then this isn't the school for you. I don't really mind it I like seeing a friendly face all the time rather than being a number and being lost in a huge state school. As long as you keep yourself busy and make it fun, then you'll love the school.
