The cashier department at HCCS SW is horrible. I only wanted to know my payment history on a class that was cancelled. I know I can look it up on line but I was passing by so I figured I would just ask a real person. I came up to the window and said ?Hi, How are you?? No answer. Told her my inquiry and was basically told to look it up on line. She was very upset. The person I dealt with was n older woman. I don?t understand why she could not just look up the info and print me out a payment history. If you can?t do that then why is your position even allowed to exist? HCC might just as well remove the position and pass on the savings to its students or use it to better its facilities. This is not the first time I have had to deal with the rude staff at HCC-SW. There is too much competition for jobs, we as students should have some say about who the campus can keep as staff and who they can?t so we can eliminate this friction. If you have a simple request they should be able to meet it. It should not require bending someone?s arm or forcing you to feel as if you are being an inconvenience to them when it?s you who make their job possible. There are other schools that I could have chosen instead of HCC SW, maybe I should look into them as it seems I am not worth HCC?s time.
