Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
KSU is not necessarily a bad school. I would say it's more like a stepping stone. The only people that would be satisfied in obtaining their degrees here would be those majoring in Nursing or Business, since those seem to be the most popular and well respected. I personally want to major in Journalism, and the only program KSU offers is Communications, which is too broad. I'm planning to transfer next year. The faculty and administration are the two main problems with the school. For one, the people who work here act like they don't want to be here, or that they have lives outside of KSU. They need to be more dedicated to working here. Whenever I have a problem with something, like if there's something wrong with my account or if I'm having trouble registering for semester classes, I never get the immediate help I need…I get transferred over the phone about ten times before I actually speak to someone about my issue, and even then the problem doesn't get resolved completely. KSU has a very nice campus though. The maintenance workers do an excellent job of making it appealing and comfortable to students.
