I received an undergraduate degree and two graduate degrees from this university. Did I always agree with my professors or classmates? No. Was it always sunshine and rainbows? Nope. But it was challenging and help me to learn a great vocabulary and to expand how I think about myself in the world. I find that there are a lot of people in the who want everything to go their way and for everyone to be like them. They'd rather complain than be proactive in doing more and being more. No one will just hand you things, but if you show honest effort and take the time to introduce yourself to your professors you will find that greater opportunities for growth will develop. UNCG is a great school. Not perfect, but most of the faculty and staff all take their jobs very seriously.
