Major: Music - Performance (This Major's Salary over time)
There needs to be a LOT of restructuring of the jazz program, specifically vocal jazz. If you're a vocal jazz major, don't go to UNT. Just head straight over to Berklee. The quality of musicianship isn't what I hoped it would be when I applied. The TA's that the vocal jazz department chooses to teach undergrad students are truly evil, without a genuine bone in their bodies. Power-hungry, sarcastic, and condescending, they got their jobs by kissing up and alienating their fellow students. But you will graduate a better musician than when you came in, if you can take 4 years in this program.
