please read this review, it will help u understand to not come here:

1st of this school sucks, and you prob already kno that by reading several reviews. it feels like 85% of this school commutes, which is true and which u already knew, im not making that up people live close to home and they go home after class and the worst part is tons of people go home on the weekend, WTF!. Do not pick this school just because u live close to home. its a bad way to go, you will be dissapointed , i kno many of you reading this will pick this school and i want you on weekends to walk on the main campus. it will feel like a ghost town! there will be 3-5 ppl walking max. where the hell does everyone go? i dont get it? have fun trying to make friends when no one is around! living in dorms was a horrible mistake, they are 2 small dont live in either bulger spanton or the other small ones around it, it feels like a jail cell being in there, and goin random with another person is ackward, when u live on campus bc i kno freshman will, dont eat at the cafe, there food is horrible u will get sick after it after a month. talking about food, the food places here get old quick, we have tbell, mcdonalds , penn station, quaker square food, and some minor foods at downtown, food here gets old idk wht to eat sometimes, are football team sucks and will suck for prob 20 more years, the stadium is nice but u will see like 200 fans there each game and we will get blown out each game by worse teams then us, we have the best soccer team , become an ak rowdy bc thts wht akron is like only known for its a super fan thing and u get to go to all the games an cheer for wonderful akron!, baseball and sftball are not tht good , and bball are okay. when u become a freshman u will get a springboard account with an email with it, have fun reading mostly every weekend that some one either gets killed or gets robed. mainly the emails is students gets robbed by shaddy ass people, beware im telling u in advance. we have a roo bus that takes u to several stops, take advantage of that. party situations sucks there is mainly never any. it is compared nothing like kent or Ohio u. i am going to say tho something positive about akron is it will all get better when u turn 21, there are many bars you can go to down town, they just got some new ones, and thts where tons of ppl go, but compared to students on campus it seems its not a true campus at all. theres a hookah bar u have to be 18, aeros baseball , nothing to do downtown really except to eat food and drink at night, nothing to do on campus on weekends at night bc no one is around. akron on campus has no wallmart no target so advice bring a car. akron has events at ej thomas each year but they are the same year after year and u will except the same ur 2nd year. just because u live close doesnt mean you have to go here, please visit other schools and do tours. u wont regret it. i want people to kno all tht i said is true and whatever decision u make is ur life. Dont chose wrong bc u only go to college once.
