Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
OK!! Arcadia is an acceptable institution, it?s not that bad and it?s not that great. I was accepted in on a nice transfer scholarship and enrolled as a Psychology and Pre-PA student. From the gate, I didn?t really like the students that attended the school. They all seem to come from a shelter community and were not opened minded people. Most students really do live very close by. AU preaches ?DIVERSITY? and that?s a freakin LIE. I guess if you count the basketball team and the other 30 African American students and the hand full of Asian students, it?s a so call diversity school. The academic?s at AU was slightly challenging, the Psychology department was awesome. I actually learned a lot from the Psych program. But most of the Professors are snotty and way to smart. For the fact that AU is a small school with class sizes ?between? 10-25, the professors never seem to give you that one on one attention when you need it. The advisors were horrible and before registering for classes, your advisor had to sign off on your classes. I thought that was a little odd. Let?s talk about the social life again? NO SOCIAL LIFE AT ALL!!! I?m not looking for parties and people running around drunk, etc. but people at AU are super wack. They dress weird, smell weird, don?t communicate and the school is just way to clique-y. Arcadia is good if you plan to study abroad and if you would like to become a PT. The school is extremely expensive ($43,000 yr), it?s a little bit unprofessional, and the activities are corny. My time at AU was not too bad but I do wish I would have went to my Drexel University interview that was schedule a week after my interview at AU? lol
