You must be local and an art or theater major. This school has zero support and no scheduling, billing, communication concerns with anyone outside of the ATL area. Also, any major other than art or theater is poorly run. And CORE is just a way to have you committed to OU after just a year or two since none of these credits will ever transfer out (or in for that matter) |
Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
In reading all of the other reviews, I was astounded. I had an amazing experience at Oglethorpe. My classes were challenging and my professors were very approachable. The various staff members with whom I came into contact were friendly and helpful. The dorms were much larger and nicer than what I've seen at other schools and the campus buildings are beautiful. The social life was great, I was never bored. I feel, as a graduate, that my degree was definitely worth it. The financial aid, both merit and need-based, was fantastic; I have significantly less debt than my friends at other institutions. In all, I absolutely loved my experience at Oglethorpe. And, while the reviews here don't reflect it (they say the jaded have the loudest voices), the majority of my classmates would say that they had a great experience as well.
