As a student at NESA, I find myself continually frustrated and disappointed with the low level of academic rigor, disorganization and superfluousness of the program. The marketing materials for the school paint a picture very different from the reality of the experience…the curriculum is nowhere near as comprehensive as they claim, there is very little community there, and the environment is not very supportive of learning. Faculty are mostly NESA-trained and have minimal real-world experience…as a result, the material you are taught is very narrow, and the resources are quite limited. Administratively, there is very little cohesion and minimal transparency. It's like a beaureaucratic transaction, and things are somehow determined behind the scenes without student involvement.
