Drew University is a lousy school. It gives off the impression that it is a quality institution that provides a solid education. But, do not be fooled by this. This school cares about money and nothing else. The administration could care less whether students actually learn and get something out of their college experience. Grade inflation is rampant at Drew, where just breathing will get you a B plus. The students are nothing special either. Many average to low average intellects are found here. The campus is boring and dull. Students are largely apathetic about their majors, future potential and social roles in the campus community. This is reflective in the low level of attendance in campus clubs and groups. Athletes have a special place on campus and many of them are not at all bright, but they are trying to relive their high school years. The academics at Drew are fair but nothing to write home about. The price which I paid to go here was not worth the actual experience of attending Drew. Seriously, if you are thinking of going to Drew, look elsewhere. There are better schools with more solid reputations in the Northeastern region. Better colleges include Muhlenberg, Clark, George Washington, Gettysburg; names that employers will recognize. Finally, Drew is a school that does not have much of a reputation outside of northern New Jersey. Employers will not recognize this name in other parts of the country. This will have a huge impact when it comes to landing a job. It is best to graduate from a school that has some name recognition; Drew does not have it. If you do end up going here, I wish you luck. But if you end up hating it, do not say that others did not warn you.

Good luck.
