Major: Criminal (This Major's Salary over time)
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. The only time this school might be worth the money is if you're going into criminal justice/forensic science/fire science. However, as a CJ major, I would say do not go here. It's extremely overpriced, and on paper, it might seem like a great school. This was my dream school and the only school I ever planned on attending-until I got here. If you live in the dorms, expect to more than likely have terrible roommates and an RA that won't do anything about it. I lived with a girl that bled all over the bathroom and refused to clean it up, so my roommate and I went to the RA. Rather than doing something about it, he told us we needed to grow up, we're too immature for college, and he has no idea why we're here. So in essence, if you get an unpleasant roommate, don't expect anyone to help you.

Prepare to face all kinds of extra expenses-clubs cost money, extracurriculars cost in excess of $100 depending on which one you're getting into. If you're dependent on financial aid, DO NOT COME HERE.

And the professors. They act like this is a great, prestigious university that is

The Ivy League of Criminal Justice,
yeah right. Some professors don't understand how to use the Internet to post grades, resulting in you getting incompletes, others don't speak English, many believe that asking/answering questions is a sign of weakness, and don't expect classwork that has anything to do with your major or the class.

And your classmates, I honestly don't know how half the people here got in. Prepare to be surrounded by drunk imbeciles whose parents pay for everything. The average grade in several of my classes was below a 50%. People here do not care about their grades and won't do anything except get drunk and party.

As much as they go on and on about how the dorms are dry and this isn't a party school-it's all lies. In the criminal justice dorms, there is regular drinking, drugs, drug dealing, etc. Don't expect the RAs to do anything about it, most of them

partake in the activities.

Overall, don't expect anyone to help you out at all if you have a problem, and expect to constantly be patronized and treated as an incompetent child.
