Alright, let's be honest here. ERAU is a great school. Their program is pretty well rounded and releveant to whatever it is you're trying to accomplish. Be mindful that it is an Aviation school though. Gen ed courses are a joke and basically only require you to show up (btw attendence is mandatory and you will get penalized for not showing up after a couple of times depending on class size).

But down to the real core of what it's like to be an Eagle. Be prepared to be focused on your studies and really nothing else. For all you guys out there looking for girls, riddle has hardly any, and most that go there are either not good looking or not worth the trouble. Trust me. The social life is pretty bland as well, as it is filled with a lot of guys. Don't expect crazy fun nights unless you have a car and friends who live off campus. Also, daytona beach is only fun for the beach. The clubs there aren't fun at all, so go ahead and skip those. The teachers there are usually good and know what they're talking about. Class sizes are generally small and the teacher is usually around (depending on your major). If you're the laid back procrastinator, you will get lower than a 2.0 GPA. Be warned.

One a positive note though, the ROTC life there is quite prominent. They basically are the "frats" of the campus. The ROTC program there is solid and I recommend it for those who are serious in joining the military.

But as an overview

PRO - ROTC program, great teachers (for the most part), solid program and overall acedemics

CON - be prepared to have only a small group of friends at best, and if you're looking for a girl you're gonna have to go off campus (99% of the time), and party-goes… well avoid this school unless you know people in the area.

Lastly I want to say that I'm leaving the school, one because I decided to switch majors, but I wanted to leave anyway because I wasn't enjoying myself at all and basically wans't happy with the social aspect. Plus it's super expensive. But if you aren't worried about your social life or money then this school is certainly for you.
