This school is a JOKE. You get all this mail from Barry and as a high school student, getting accepted to a college is a great feeling and Barry takes advantage of that. All the people on the mail are white with beautiful backgrounds. When you get there you will notice the school is 70% black and the school is located in the ghetto, seriously. The school advises people not to walk outside the gates at any time period. I went here for one semester in which there was a shooting across the campus, a written threat to hurt the school and students in which half of Miami Shores police was on campus. My bathroom was clogged fives times during my only semester there in which it flooded my dorm twice. There was mold in my room which caused me to be sick for over a month and when I complained they said they would have someone come over to clean it but no one ever showed up. I called three times. The school food is awful, everything is frozen and heated up and left out for hours. The people who make your food look like felons and are disrespectful at times. The internet goes out so much and when it does work you can't do anything because it is so slow. You would think since the school cost so much that it would be a decent school, wrong. I read the reviews from this website and I knew the were negative but decided I would make the most out of it and give it a good shot. Horrible decision, this school maxes out your loans before they give you any financial aid. The only good thing about the school is the weather but if it rains (it is Miami, it rains A LOT), it is going to flood because the school doesn't want to spend money to fix anything. Also the school fire alarms go off so much you can't sleep sometimes. I transferred out after my first semester, Miami is so overrated and this "college" is terrible. Please save your money, time, and happiness and don't go here.
