My, oh, my, where to begin? This school is a hot mess. Not worth the money or the aggravation. Will take any excuse they can find to keep you another year and not allow you to graduate on time. Students are treated with no respect, unlike what they want you to believe, you are not an actual person at Immaculata. Your tuition pays their bills. That is all. As long as they get their money, they don't give a rats ass if you pass or fail. The tutoring center is awful and will not help you, they are absolutely useless. Luckily, the English Department is quite lovely, so I do not believe that IU has been a COMPLETE waste of time and money. Mary Beth Gallagher, Sr. Marcille, Prof. Flannery and Prof. Mooney are some of the most brilliant people I have come into contact with and I do love my fellow English Majors. But the institution as a whole is a shit show.
