IUB is a beautiful place. The campus takes your breath away. I am from out of state and do not find that IU is the least bit alienating. Because of the music school it has a very diverse, national and international population. In addition it IS reasonably priced compared to most out of state instituions. In fact, my instate public is so exensive, and IU was so generous with their automatic merit based schoarship, the difference between in-state and out of state costs were completely off-set for me. The only negative thing I would say is that ifyou are planning on going through sorority rush here you better have thick skin. It is pretty harsh, and the placement rate is not good. All and all, I love this school!
