If I could go back and do it all over again, I would have never applied to this school. For one, it is stuck in the technological dark ages. It does not offer any online courses for the poor commuters and most of the teachers require printed homework, which is a pain considering how expensive printer ink is for an unemployed student who has to spend a ton on gas just to get to the darn place. Many of the teachers are unapproachable and not very understanding. I received my first failing grade here in my entire school career and even though I did extra credit and showed up in my professor's office every other week to show that I cared, I finished with an overall grade of C. I am not a C student. Courses are much more difficult than they should be considering that this place does not rank high among other Virginia schools. I had troubles with the University bookstore and received a failing grade on homework even though I communicated with my teacher and sent her an e-mail (to which she did not respond). The faculty here are completely stuck up, as are most of the students. In the two years I have gone here, I cannot say I have a single friend from it. And that is just plain sad considering that no other aspect of the university has been kind to me. It is awful. Just don't go here. I wish I hadn't, and now it is too late for me to get out. Commuters avoid. Teachers don't care if you drive from the D.C. area at the crack of dawn and run into traffic or weather difficulties. I repeat: they don't care. Stay away!
