I understand that anyone can grow where they are planted, but this is not the place that I believe most students would like to be planted. It is very urban/almost ghetto. No real campus- it's buildings scattered across several blocks plopped down in the middle of downtown Atlanta. According to the Atlanta Journal, also one of the highest crime rate census tracts recently.

Dorms are so-so. Like a cold fortress. Lots of loud rap music all hours. Street beggars, preachers, homeless begigng money and food as you walk around. I don't want to be hassled going to class! Parking is abysmal. You have to park at M Deck or Turner Field and then take sporadic schizophrenic shuttles. Don't count on it to get to class on time. When there's a baseball game you can't park at Turner. It's a joke- and the commute downtown is horrid.

Greek organizations were also a joke. They have a Hispanic/Latino fraternity. I thought I was watching the Crips & Bloods one day on campus. Sorry, I know that sounds bad, I don't mean it to, it's just not the traditional experience in any sense of the word. Food is bad and a total ripoff.

I think it's unfortunate that what might be a decent school for some majors (good, not great by any stretch) is totally ruined by the wretched quality of life. It's not vibrant and exciting like they advertize it on the tours- it's dangerous and opressing. I felt like I was in Detroit. Don't waste your time and money- look elsewhere.
