I chose Pomona over Stanford, Yale, Columbia, Northwestern, and Amherst, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. It is to me the happiest place on Earth, but it's not superficial. My friends at both Pomona and the other colleges in the consortium are absolutely amazing and brilliant, but they are not snooty or rigid. Pomona is the finest liberal art college the west has to offer in terms of academics and prestige. The food is delicious and there is always a lot of variety, and there's something going on at Pomona or the other colleges which allows for a very intimate and awesome experience. I highly recommend others to look at this highly underranked school. It is a great place to be.
