OU is a good school and you can get a quality education here, but you have to look for the right classes and the right professors. It's very easy to float through on "easy A" classes and finish with a degree, but no education to speak of. However, if you want to take challenging, insightful classes with brilliant professors, they exist, but you might have to do some asking around. On a social note, people here are friendly and Norman is a decent town given the surrounding area.
