Susquehanna University gave me an outstanding foundation and culled key skills: listening, critical thinking and problem solving. I have a life long curiosity for learning facilitated by the nurturing environment of SU. My father died during my senior year, the faculty and administration were extremely supportive of me and my family. I graduated on time due largely to their mentoring and caring during a time of duress. The rural campus forces students to become self-reliant. SU gave me leadership opportunities I would not have had exposure to at a major university. I directly attribute my professional success to my academic education at SU. I attribute my quality of life and the development of my character to the professional staff. Yes, Drs Blizzard, Blessing, Longacre, Ury and Mason - I was paying attention and yes, you did make a difference in my life. I will be eternally grateful.
