Major: Music Education (This Major's Salary over time)
I was an out of state student. I really enjoyed my time at SMU, but I was also in the band. I got to travel with the football and basketball teams. It was awesome! I also got a great scholarship from meadows and the band. I liked my professors. They were very knowledgable and helpful. However, I didn't like a lot of the students in my classes. They were either snooty or stupid (or both, lol). I was in a sorority for a while and hated it. If you are interested in academics, I think this is a great place to come. If you really want to be in the Greek system, it's also great. I didn't fit into that scene, but I didn't really expect to. Find a club or group of friends and you will be fine. I would recommend Wesley or one of the other religious organizations, or the band.
