The school offers good programs and the faculty is pretty good. What is horrific about the school is the condition the school is in. The campus is located on a large cliff (The name is Briar "Cliff") and is completely isolated from the city. The facilities need a much needed facelift. The basketball court would have dead spots, the soccer and baseball fields had holes, and the football team shares a stadium with a high school that the city of Sioux City seems to care more about. Scholarships are good and are quite attractive, but while living up there I felt like I was treated very second class with lots of people that seemed to be incredibly sheltered. The only thing that keeps someone from leaving is the friends that they make. Everything else about the school (dorms, food, facilities, building conditions, activities, parking, etc) is awful and not worth your time.
