I just transferred in last semester from a community college. This is my 3rd year of college. Mostly everything sucks about this school. The food is horrible and mostly fat and tastes like crap. The staff is even worse. Also, the administrative staff is mostly work-study kids who dont care about anything or they are students that go to the school like RAs and dont care about their job. To get a job on campus at all you need to have work study and have no chance if you dont qualify. The dorm life here sucks. Noone does anything and the only normal people here are the commuter students. The dorm rooms are terrible falling apart and when you put in a work order they never get done or they get to them a month before the semester ends. Also, if you dont room with someone you know be prepared to argue about the setup of your room because the kids that go here get fed and babied by their parents at home. If you find good teachers for your major make sure you pick your classes early so you can get the best academic experience. All of the professors I have had so far are great and very helpful. If I had a car and didnt want to move out of my house so bad I would commute to school because the social life and the city of lowell is terrible in itself. Id advise not living here. This school has the 2nd best criminal justice program in the state (behind northeastern) and from the quality of the teachers I believe this. That is why for this major commuting would be a better use of money rather than wasting money to live here and have a horrible few months each semester.
