The MA program in museum studies is poorly planned by the school. Because it takes place entirely in Italy, there are many other factors that students need to independently prepare for, and which do not necessarily coincide with the normal school calendar. The Financial Aid department is completely inept, rude, and generally unwilling to help grad students plan this huge undertaking and has been a nightmare to work with for the last year. If you are financing this yourself, you should be fine as the academic coordinator and faculty in Italy are quite wonderful, but unfortunately are not able to help lessen the hair-pulling frustrations that characterize any dealings with Marist's administrative offices.
