Major: Language - French/Spanish/etc. (This Major's Salary over time)
Well, this is technically a good "name" university, I guess. It's not all awful, but I don't really trust or befriend many of the staff simply because they don't care about individual students. Students are just dollars for them, not their customers/valued friends/concern.Many of the students are also very privileged and close-minded. There are definitely some bright, fun, interesting people who attend Willamette, but there's more who I personally find rather spoiled and obnoxious. Willamette is good at giving out financial aid, but it will still be expensive. Mostly in the name of sustainability, which is Willamette's big shtick it's promoting. My personal opinion is that sustainability is important, but the university just uses it as an excuse to charge us more.I made friends mostly within my major, and extensions of other friends. There's not really a "dating scene" at Willamette.I kind of wish I had picked somewhere else, where I would have met people that I clicked with more.
