I am a student attending mcny its my first semester.  The teachers are great. The programs of study moves very fast.  You must keep focus because their are a lot of paper due.I believe they will prepare for what ever it is your trying to do.  There are different ways of teaching and methods.  most of the students go to school twice a week.  The issues some times occurs about the intership its part of the course.  Its 14 hours a week, thats what the paper will involve.  Other than that the adminstration sucks, they dont want to help you with anything.  You have to keep up on everything.  new students make sure all your federal aid and loans are done.  make sure you dont missed out on any scholarships owned to you, especially if your comming from a school that has an agreement with them.  keep up on every thing.  They will try to keep your money, take from experience.Human sevice major 2012
