Major: Interior Design (This Major's Salary over time)
This school is about to loose their accreditation and quite honestly that had NO business having it in the first place. The faculty is completely unresponsive and unhelpful. I have avoided contact with the faculty as I have heard complete horror stories. This is a FOR PROFIT school, so if there is a way for them to force you into a course they will. They make it quite clear that the do not care about you. The bulk of the instructors have not worked in the industry in years and those that have are so busy with their jobs that they merely show up for a paycheck and aren?t interested in teaching. So you are left to figure out a great deal for yourself.I am a career changer and already have a bachelors degree from a major university so I know what an ideal learning environment can look like and I assure you this is not it. It?s a business.Additionally the classes are expensive and there are a multitude of unexplained fees. While most design firms work with MAC computers this school has maybe 5 MACs in the building and almost none of the computers work consistently. In 2012 and for the prices this school charges that is unacceptable.
