Palm Beach Atlantic University..hmmm..where do I start. The campus is a beautiful place, I love West Palm because I am from the middle of nowhere in Ohio so it is a nice change. I love Florida too, so much so I want to live down here. But this school is not a place I desire to come back to next semester. Now mind you, if you are an intellectual person I think you will enjoy yourself here. But as for me, I am not the brightest in the bunch and this school challenged me a lot in that area. I am a Christian, and that is where I want to go with this. Christianity at PBA. Okay so heres the deal, for people out there that are desiring to be more of an intellectual Christian I recommend this school, but for those of you like me who desire to grow spiritually then this is not the place for you. I recommend Lee University for that (Which is where I went last year). Pba has dried my spirit up and I have never been in a place so dry in my entire life. Yes they have their Anchor nights for worship but it is just so religious and traditional. And it is this way because of the Administration. My minor is Ministry so I know how the teachers of ministry are. All they are concerned with is to get you oversees to do mision work, which by all means do, I have nothing against that, but they don't seem to be concerned with anything that is happening here at PBA, or America for that matter. If you are looking for a dry and spiritually dead campus please come. Besides the weather is wonderful all the time, the beach is only minutes away, and there is a lot to do here OUTSIDE of the campus. An example of this is one semester our RD of Rinker found out that one guy in the dorm was having sex with other guys and he did absolutely nothing about it. Why? Good question. But that is the way PBA handles real issues. Also a friend of mine wanted to have a 2 day spirit filled conference and they denied him because they did not know him. They don't care about the spirit of God here, and they don't care about you if you are radical. That is all I have to say before I get upset again.
