Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I'm a graduating senior from the school of business, and while I recognize that Widener will not be confused with Wharton anytime soon, the people who have had neagative academic experiences here are the ones who did not go out and put in any of their own effort. There are many avenues that will be opened for you because of Widener connections, there is a lot of history here with alumnis dating back to the days it was the Pennsylvania Military Academy. Also, I've just completed my third internship - all of which I obtained through Widener's programs. COLLEGE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT NO MATTER THE UNIVERSITY. As far as safety concerns go, do not belive the hype. Yes, kids should no go walking through the inner city of Chester when its dark out because they'll probably get mugged, but the campus is separated from the City of Chester by I-95 and is extremely safe. It is always well lit with probably too much campus safety present if you ask me. In four years I have not heard of an on-campus violent event happening.
