Goodness me where do i even start. I attended online classes (fully online) for a whole semester and in that time, every assignment i had due was to post in a message board twice a week and do a worksheet, that had nothing to do with education or anything the class name would allude to it being. The first class i took, the only one that was remotely worth it, was the only class to have a quiz! granted, it was the only quiz in the class and was over the first 2 weeks "learnings", but a quiz nonetheless. I had 20 credits from when i was in high school, and i have to take a class on how to write an essay? NOT EVEN AN MLA STYLE ESSAY!! How to write an essay with a thesis statement and THATS ALL I HAD TO DO. I failed one class and got close to failing in another class because of a computer error on their part that no one decided to contact me about for 6 WEEKS! The teachers don't care at all, no contact, not a word, and then it's MY FAULT YOUR SYSTEM DOESN'T "RECOGNIZE" OS X?! ITS A MAC, NOT SOME OBSCURE FORM OF LINUX YOU FOOLS! The only time i would get calls is when my finance counselor wanted to know when i could pay the balance on my account (which, they only decided i had a balance AFTER i started my classes? shouldn't you clear that before i start doing this?) every other day my finance counselor called to sap my money from me, but no one else cared, and my teachers were completely unresponsive. I work with someone who says on campus life isn't much better, though i can't much comment on that. $10,000 a year, for online classes like that? I'm good.
