Montevallo AKA Monte"hellno'' please don't do it, i'm begging you, DON'T DO IT. Okay I take that back: if you were home schooled, never had a life really, liked the high school thing, and like seeing the same exact people every single day, having the SAME EXACT routine every single day, and doing not a DANG thing during the week or on the weekend..then the University of Montevallo is probably where you belong :) I know everyone has their own opinions, of course, but I absolutely hated it here. I'm miserable. Never found that "friend group," considering i'm a very friendly, outgoing person. No one here quite gets me, i guess. But then again i guess that's on me…okay no it's not I blame Montevallo (haha!) The actually school work is not challenging whatsoever. It's just like high school, basically 13th grade. DON'T DO IT..JUST DON'T…PLEASE UNDERSTAND, COINCIDE WITH ME. College Night MIGHT have been the only good part about this school…they use it to "reel you in" but don't let them fool you! It's only a month of your whole year and it's not worth it. It is a fun time, don't get me wrong, but no. Just no. Population around 3k, no one is ever on campus. You feel so alone, you get depressed, and you eat a lot like I do…then you get fat…then there you have another problem. I'm telling you, coming from a girl who can easily make friends, wasn't ever a weirdo or anything, just please don't go here. I promise you'll thank me later. Oh, greek life here is kind of funny. Not disrespecting whatsoever but it's all kind of lame to me…never any parties..OH and there's one bar downtown. Which smells like crap.

Okay, i'll stop ranting, but i'll leave you at this: You can do better, unless you just want to die here :)
