LSU-S is primarily a commuter school and it is perfect for adults who also have a job. Party animals may not be happy here. The professors are devoted to teaching instead of research, which makes the school a good choice for working undergrads. The school is located in a safe neighborhood in a mid-sized city. LSU-S will get you where you want to go academically. Courses are quite rigorous in natural sciences and in the Business School. There are a lot of complainers on this site, but it is mainly because this is not a party school.
