Corning Community College is a pretty decent place to go to school although there are some negative aspects to it. One thing I really didn't like are that some teachers, especially in the liberal arts department, constantly pushing their political biases on classes. I normally wouldn't mind this too much but I have had 2 English classes (1010 and 1020) that didn't take time to go over proper writing or curriculum but were literally mostly the professor preaching about politics and how students should do more to protest and such. They also try and get you to go to rallies and stuff. However there are some really good business teachers who will take the time to make sure you understand material and are always trying to help. There isn't too much in the sports department compared to other schools but it is after all a community college. Environment wise, there is this weird push done by the school that constantly stresses political correctness and acceptance. I'm all for equality and all but the constant preaching to accept everyone and be super happy happy with everyone gets really annoying by the end of semesters. Overall not a bad school as long as you don't let these things bother you.
