Major: Civil Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
As a Senior Civil Engineering Major, I would recommend two things: (1) Understand that after first semester Sophomore Year, you will have constant weekly assignments and labs to submit, in addition to having exams scheduled closely together/same days; (2) Don't waste time "exploring" interests for a semester as they would have you believe you can afford. If you're getting into CE Major, I highly recommend taking CE classes asap to prevent tougher class schedules later on (say having 3 laboratory classes in one semester). Good Luck!
