Personally, I've loved my experience at Northwestern.  It's all what you make of it though.  Because of it's size there are abundant opportunities to get involved, make friends, and grow as a person.  However, it's up to you to take initiative and go after those opportunities, from making the effort to get downtown to paving relationships with professors.

The engineering program is extremely dynamic allowing you to take up to 25% of your classes outside of McCormick, something I've definitely taken advantage of!  Classes like EDC (Engineering Design) really push for you to pair creativity with engineering.

The students are friendly and critical thinkers meaning there's a lot of enlightening conversation going on around campus.  Sometimes their drive and determination keeps us inside the library a few more nights a week than we'd wish but it'll make for an amazing career network down the road.

find your niche and you'll find your home here.
