The amount of negative reviews on here is startling.  I loved every second of Mercer University.  I was never bored.  Greek Life is amazing and really can't be compared to Greek Life at a bigger school like UGA.  It was something I never intended to do, but after I decided to give it a try, I can't imagine what my undergrad experience would have been like without my Sorority experience.  As for the “snobby” people.  I didn't encounter any more at Mercer than I did anywhere else I've been.  Don't let that close-minded and jaded comment be a deterrent.  It's expensive, yes.  But if you're awesome, you can get a scholarship, which is what I did.  Basically, if you're not interested in getting involved on campus or in the community, don't go to Mercer.  Go to UGA where the University and the town can serve you.  Mercer is a place that give you the opportunity to serve others.  That's the great thing about Mercer, the students run the campus.  Everyone is involved in a ton of different organizations and at the end of your amazing 4 (or 5) years, you really felt like you've left your mark on the university.  That's what I wanted and that's what I got.  If you want drunk people yelling at each other and stumbling down the street several nights a week, then by all means go to UGA.  Although, Mercer is not without its party scene.  People still manage to have that sort of a good time here.  Honestly, you should know in your heart whether or not you're UGA or a Mercer kind of person.  I'm a Mercer gal through and through.  I loved it.  I wish I could go back and do it again and again.  Hail to thee, Mercer University!  You're pretty badass.

responseJust because you found "negative reviews" don't make them invalid to your small-minded self and any other dim-minded person who only thing positive reviews from me are only important. Get over yourself. Everyone is different, and because of that and stupid people who would prejudge makes every experience both positive and negative. I think about why Georgia has so many stupid, low-life students who will become stupid, low-life professional: people hate to change for the better and hate to be corrected. Once again, GET OVER YOURSELF.

I kind of love that my review pissed you off so much. Thank you.

responseYou'd like that, wouldn't you? I would assume that you're the one whose pissed off. Like I said before, Get over yourself. Your self-absorbance is what got you thinking that, and you know what, you're entitled. I'm sure you know all about entitlement, huh? That is why you think what you think, which only proves my point I made earlier. One last point: my judgment was wrong in calling you "small-minded". I'm better than that, and you're entitled to think and speak the ways you do and as long as it "works" for you, I'm sure you'll do it.
