My advice to you would be to not come to L.I.U , i thought that my first year of college would have been way better especially for the money that my dad was paying for me to come here. first off the students here are very close-minded and just like some comments below they stick to cliques (were in college not high school). The Conolly building is terrible everything is falling apart and the bathrooms are disgusting , let me remind you the school is 30k a year. the professors are also not great , i can honestly say i havnt learned anything here. The financial aid office can never help if you ask them questions some of the people working their don't even know the answers to any of them. One thing i can say about coming here would be that we dont have a curfew and since its New York you have so much to do regardless the time of day.I had so much fun in NYC but i can honesly say i havnt learned anything , you shouldnt come here especially if your coming to learn.
