Transferring to UP was a fantastic decision for me. I feel challenged and encouraged to think in all my classes, but I am not drowning in busy work. Students are pretty diverse and interesting people, which was a nice change from high school. One of my favorite things about UP is that it is not showy.. the focus of the school is on the school, not promoting the school. I do wish UP would start building space for restaurants / coffee shops / bars right around campus and that the administration would be more in touch with students.
