First year is good and everything. Admission seems to be there for you. This is a ploy. The year after they will treat you horribly, unless the only thing you major in is sports(sorry hon, but sports ain't everything, especially when the teams are not that good), are a minority(they get money from the government if you are), or are a bible-beating-lets-go-burn-the-witch Christian that happens to go to the same church as the people in admissions.

Teachers are very good, especially for higher level courses. Admissions, save for a few people, are very childish. If it makes them feel good, they will take their personal problems out on you, unless you are one of the people in the group mentioned above. They will even lie to get you in trouble. But hey, it's your word against theirs, and who believes a decent student over a god in the faculty.

All people want to do on campus is get drunk. They will even drive all the way to Hays then drive back just to get drunk. Those that are otherwise are "weird".

Security is an old man who will only come if a faculty member makes him or if someone dies. But oh lordie, if it be a parking violation, you bet your but he will find it! Even if you have a very good reason for parking in a different lot, even if it is completely empty save for yourself, you have committed a crime only second to manslaughter. If you try to appeal you will get to have a wonderful time with the vp of student affairs, though she would rather be twenty miles away from the affairs of the students who are not in the mighty three group.

Now the president, I've never seen or met, which tells you he does very little for a salary of three digits.

Overall, cheap and good education, if you don't mind living to misery and being forced into humiliation for the sheer amusement of the faculty.
