Seriously if you are a good student looking to be successful in life don't attend the UPR Rio Piedras, this place is awful for people who want to distinguish themselves from the rest. Social Life is horrible, although most people don't judge, but it feels like if no one actually cares. I mean they can see someone else being assaulted or harmed by someone else and stay quite. Security is probably the biggest issue it has, if you're a girl you'll need like 10 pepper sprays and a couple of tasers. Education is not as bad, but we barely have any resources compared to other universities. Employees really don't care if you need any help whatsoever, and are very bad at orientating new students. My advice is if you have the chance to study somewhere else do it, unfortunately I'm stuck in this shit hole due to monetary issues. Enjoy your life and maximize your talents go somewhere else!
