The best think I enjoyed about Rio Hondo was the accessibility to night classes. I found that those classes were much better than the ones offered though the day (probably because people were more serious about their education). However, because it's a community college, you are treated like a number. That's not a problem for me since it was just a stepping stone to getting my undergrad. For the most part you can obtain a decent education (although I believe it's too easy of an institution). I graduated with a 3.30 and I didn't even try; had I, I would have obtained a higher GPA.
